We're all familiar with the Dow Jones Report that is relevant to a small minority in this country and practically meaningless to the rest of us. Here is my attempt at a Jones Report, a report on the state of the average American. If you are interested in learning more, check out the Sqworl page below:

  • I think I accidentally gave your video 2 stars. I haven't rated a vid yet; my intent was 5 stars! This is a really well-done compilation. I'd say it's astonishing to see how far the State will go to protect the bourgeoisie after they fail time-and-time again, but my analysis is that the State is merely functions for the interest of private tyranny, not for the majority of the working-class. It's also disheartening to see how degraded the quality of life has become for the working-class.

  • Great compilation - no, things are by no means rosy at all. The temporary fix is nothing but a mirage.

  • Nice video

  • Glad you used The Real News, they're a great source of information- alongside Democracy Now.

  • You said "freedom for free market entrepreneurs is needed". Apparently to this crowd that translates to "more capitalist overlords are needed". The right wingers (neo-cons, vulgar libertarians and fundie nutjobs) have done such a good job of claiming the term "free market" for themselves that it instantly throws up red flags for most libertarian socialists.

  • i dont even remember what i said and now i cant see it cause it got thumbs downed haha

  • Wow... sobering indeed.

    Peace.

  • Though my views generally fall within the spectrum of "left anarchism", I think the egoist/individualist critiques of the likes of Max Stirner give voice to my own problems with the "anarcho-capitalist" position.

Stirner wrote of "spooks" - he considered much of cultural indoctrination to be fantastic. It's a psyche out, which thrives on the inertia of unexamined consent.

Property (esp. as "title") is an example of this. In fact "the state" could have hardly come into existence without it.

  • Nicely done.
