  • i just came

  • My mom sold my dad's MINT t-top TTZ32 5spd. I would have that car right now for my first car. I love my Maro but im determined to get one of these again and swap the skyline motor. This is one of my favorite imports. Sick car man, major props.

  • @irishboxer92 It's pretty close.

It's your car, do what you want ;) As long as you enjoy it mate. Best of luck with the project whenever it commences.

  • @imagod00d damn, thats almost a 10 sec quarter mile huh. im definitly keeping the VG30 for now but when the engine goes i might just put a rb26 in it just cus

  • I mean @imagod00d

  • @irishboxer92

"I know a bloke who recently pushed out 420HP @ 22PSI with stock internals."

Im just shy of 500bhp @16psi in my standard internal rb26dett and it will easily take 650

  • sound is scary... but car won't move

  • @irishboxer92 I'd stick with the VG. You can put a lot of boost into one of them without mucking around with internals, and they're a generally strong and reliable motor as it is.

I know a bloke who recently pushed out 420HP @ 22PSI with stock internals. It's been running strong for a while now.

  • @imagod00d oh i got ya, just cus im thinking of putting a rb26dett in my 1990 z once the engine hits 120k

  • @irishboxer92 Yeah probably. But usually nothing will pass the radiator and the support panel, not enough room.

If it was a daily car, there'd definately be a filter there instead of the trumpet (the chrome piece in front of the actual turbo), because after a long time, dust and smog particles would eventually damage the fins (a lot like throwing sand in there, just at a much smaller scale).

But as you can see, this is just a weekend/project car, less care is taken to how long it's gonna last.
