Yes, it actually started as a hollow wooden surfboard, then I added the pontoons and body to make the boat.

@meposkot It is, you may want to try a larger motor than a 6.5 hp if your boat can handle the weight. I think my prop has just a little more pitch than my motor can bear, can't reach full rpms.

Hey! you could build a belt clutch for this! 2 pulleys with a loosened belt on it! if you put the lever in the wheel presses in the belt and creates friction so the propshaft turns :)

@SthealthRaider Yes, in fact i used that type of clutch on a gocart I made, and a golf cart, video search words (homemade utility vehicle). I wanted to use something like it on he boat except there isn't much space under the hood, and weight is also an issue.
