Norton Mezvinsky (PhD, University of Wisconsin-Madison 1959) is a professor in the History Department at Central Connecticut State University. Mezvinsky, a native of Ames, Iowa, earned his B.A. at the University of Iowa and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. Following post-doctoral studies at Harvard University, Dr. Mezvinsky began his academic career at the University of Michigan. He joined the academic staff at CCSU in 1966.

Youtube is not letting me post links but but a quick Google search would show that his curriculum vitae is not even remotely comparable to that of a serious scholar like Baruch Kimmerling, a man with a well-deserved international reputation, or Ilan Pappe.

I had the honor of studying under Dr. Mezvinsky and he is one of my lasting inspirations.
