Internet Censorship is now becoming law in germany,
here is the back story:
http://netzpolitik.org/2009/the-dawning-of-internet-censorship-in-germany/
Quote:
"The general idea is to build a censorship architecture enabling the government to block content"
Quote:
"German politicians already seem to be lining up with their wish-list of content to be censored in future the suggestions ranging form gambling sites, islamist web pages, first person shooters, and the music industry cheering up with the thought of finally banning pirate bay and p2p."

Since tha law passed this Thursday, so protests were arranged by the Pirate Party, a small party that shares some of our viewpoints, AGAINST THIS CENSORSHIP ACT.

Anonymous Hamburg was at the local protest in front of the Hamburg City Hall to protest with other Internet citizens.

If you want to let us know if you liked our action or not, go post in the Protest thread on whyweprotest.net:

  • Condolences to German citizens who value their interwebs. Fight on, and good luck. Censorship is just another way for humans to control humans, and it should never be accepted. I hope you all get your internet freedom back soon.

  • I hope to god Annon saves us from the new mess they've created?

  • I don't believe in internet censorship, but Anonymous is a joke of a group.

Due to every member being "Anonymous", any asshole hacker can join their group, and hack whoever they want, and guess who gets blamed as a whole?

Heres the other thing, they contradict their own policies due to this because those asshole hackers because they fuck up things for OTHER people.

    Sorry, but Anonymous is weak.

The internet is just their safe guard against authorities.

  • I am all against internet censorship, and in general "anonymous" may pick whats considered "good" causes, but the way they do it, and the fact they are "anonymous" and whom they target makes their efforts fail.

For example in this protest, no one was going to come out and beat them up. Now why don't anonymous protest at more risky things like protest the neo-nazis? or organize how activist groups actually organize with name, and organized protest?

  • yes yes yes!! Do mre things like this. Rather thank fuking hacking the PSN

  • Vendetta! :D

  • respect!

  • Good job accomplishing nothing.

  • White trash western market nazis and fascists think they run the world or something. :)
