  • Victor Newman is the man all you Jack Abott lovers have a serious problem the man is actually a monster who people seem to keep forgeting that Victor had loved him like a brother before the bastard stabbed him in the back repeatedly, everything Victor did against the abbotts was in retaliation of Jack's spoiled brat antic that even John Sr. disapproved of so get over it!

  • I do agree with you on the Adam character. I liked the other one who played him. Instead of killing Colleen off, they could've sent her to Europe for a while. And I'm soooooo very tired of the Patty character..get rid of her!

  • I'm a big fan of the show, yes, and I felt that it made a really good comeback last October to about February/March of this year. But it all has seem to gone belly-up. I feel insulted as a long-term character that they killed off Colleen Carlton, a legacy character, for no particular reason. Wtf! I don't know how it lost its direction so dramatically. I don't know when Adam is going to be found out. I suppose once the baby switch reveal materializes. I loved the original actor much more, though.

  • that's very true. are you a big fan of Y & R? i do love the show, but hate some of the storylines...especially Adam...when he is going to be found out about all that he has done?

  • Maybe it was, in part at least. I guess one could reason that an actor has to use whatever leverage he has to get a decent contract, even if it means appealing to the fans and using them to get what he wants out of his career. But he really sounded off on the top brass, and the fans and their love for him made the deal happen, in my opinion. He should thank the fans and also realize that the next time something like this will happen, people will feel that his credibility has been damaged.

  • In an interview I read, he did thank the fans. But as much of a fan of his as I am, I had wondered if it was a publicity stunt.

  • I know. It seemed like it was all a major publicity scheme. He used his fans to get a better deal and never thanked them for their support.

Has this guy ever thanked his fans once in any interview? He has legions of admirers. That's what his career is built upon. Instead, he's always bashing the writers post Bill Bell and complaining about how his role is written. He sounds like a jackass.

  • hate to break it to you, but he will be back on the show!!

  • Victor's such an ass. How unbelievable that a potbellied 70 year-old kicks the ass of men decades younger than him.

Hate to break it to you guys: he's been written off the show. He'll most likely continue to air for another month or two. Didn't want to take a paycut during the middle of his contract. Despise the character, but the actor's complaint is reasonable.

  • Victor Newman kicks so much ass.
