World Cup 2011 Celebration New Delhi .... Must watch !!

India won the Cricket World Cup 2011 after beating Sri Lanka by six wickets in the final played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India.

Chasing a challenging target of 275 India achieved the target after losing four wickets with 10 balls to spare.

India's win was spearheaded by Gautam Gambhir (97) and skipper MS Dhoni (91 not out) who played anchor roles to keep their winning hopes high throughout the game.

Sri Lanka gave India a stiff target after winning the toss and electing to bat first.

They posted 274 for six wickets with deputy skipper Mahela Jayawardena playing a leading role.

Jayawardena clobbered an unbeaten 103 off 88 deliveries to put Sri Lanka in the box seat.

The first thing I did after the match was over was to go for a drive from Faridabad on to GK then India Gate and finally Connaught Place. The atmosphere in Delhi was beyond anything I'd ever experienced, people united in BERSERK happiness and pride, complete strangers slapping you high-fives, the sound of victory hoots, vuvuzelas, and patriotic slogans all around, people dancing on the road and on their car roofs, tricolors everywhere, people shouting and waving from their car windows, MAGICAL!!
