Barr voted in favor of going to war against iraq and in favor of the patriot act also. Barr doesn't see the FED as the main cause of the monetary problems facing the nation today.

I agree, while I would rather have Paul I have no problem with Barr. Despite what he's done in the past I support him because I acknowledge that nobody is born Libertarian. It bothers me that many former Paul supporters can't see that logic.

I changed too. I was a pretty liberal guy till I had to pay my own way. I do wish we had Dr. Paul instead but Barr is a fine candidate. He really needs to be in the debates because he will absolutely ruin mccain and obama much like Dr. Paul ruined McCain earlier this year.

i guess he is as stupid as he looks. the reason newsweek and la times polls were wrong is cause they said they said the people who were gonna vote are going to be 40 percent democrats and 23% rebpublicans, and when newsweek changed their polling methodology, obama was only up by 3.

I too have been brainwashed by both parties. I grew up into a pretty strong republican family. Then when I started out on my own I became a Democrat. Since the start of this election for the 2008 president i was looking for something more. Both canidates were not the right ones. One is a racist muslim and the other is a war mongral. By the grace of my buddy(kickurass5150 on youtube) I have found my way to the Libertarian Party. This November Bob Barr gets my vote. And my wifes too. I CHANGED TOO

The goons at FOX NEWS cut him out of a debate and Romney, Guliani and McCain took turns portraying him as a Martian. They will come to regret this as a desperately weakened Republican party will not find heaven through the narrow support of millionaires and evangelicals and dead enders. They are doomed and I welcome seeing the Libertarions drive a stake through their greedy corporate 'heart'.
