As regards the Music Bodine I guess our Western ears are used to more chromatic scales!

So, how do you go about composing these pieces? Do you take ideas from 12ET tunings and deviate microtonally, or have you come up with certain microtonal scales? For instance, if a scale is 7 notes in 12ET tuning, then keeping the same ratio, you could find groupings of 21 notes in 36ET tuning and consider those groupings scales. then instead of half steps and whole steps apart, notes would now be 1/6th steps or 1/3rd steps apart and the 22nd note in the scale would be the octave (22tave?)

Just fascinating, the possibilities opened up by alternate tunings, scales, and etc. It frees the mind.
Again just great!!!! :-)

Hmm I don't find this playful, Animal circuses are miserable places for the Anilmals. I thought the pictures went well with the music because it had an odd sinister feel to it that portrayed Circuses perfectly. All glitter on the front but horrific behind the scenes. I'm glad we've banned them in the Uk. Kinda makes us more Moral. 5*

@conn6m ~ Yeah. Circuses have a history of unkind treatment of their animals. 8-(
