The motorcyclist eventually left I-17 at the Rock Springs Road exit and pulled to the side the road when he apparently ran out of gas, officials said.
DPS said two motorists, Scott Gilbert and Robert Thoop, a retired DPS officer from Black Canyon City, came up to Erekson and encouraged him to surrender. A few minutes later a DPS officer arrived on scene and placed Erekson under arrest just before 9 a.m.

i went to the abc15 website and searched for the story. Since the networks left you without an ending I wanted to find out what happened. Thats their video CNN and FOX are using. I also found the same story on the Channel 3 site.
