  • If it was my call on what to do with that Orca male in FL, I would of let him go back to the ocean. He was not born and raised in captivity. He was taken from the ocean. "Only", if we had to keep him for breeding, would he remain in my water park. Even though part of me says "Put him down" for drowning that sweetheart, I wouldn't do it, but then again, what if she was my daughter? My sister? My wife? I probably would say throw some super toxic poison fish down his throat right now!

  • I don't think majority of these Orca's are unhappy with their environment and treatment or want to harm trainers, but from time to time, you get an Orca, like these giant males, that just flip out and kill. When you have a case resulting in a fatality, either put it to sleep, keep it for breeding only or let it go back in the ocean. Never let that animal in a show ever again. 2 trainers and an idiot who jumped in the tank were killed by the same Orca bull whale.

  • To me, shows like this simply make a mockery of the animal. Yes they are cute and intelligent - but they should be observed from a distance in their natural habitats, not essentially captured and imprisoned in this circus to entertain us. It's all wrong to me. Surely to see their true beauty and potential we should see them as they're meant to be? as nature intended?

  • this is awesome, the whales r so smart and cute!

  • I THOUGH IT WAS A KILLER WHALE BUT ITS AWSOME!!!

  • Ohh its so beautiful!!! But i feel so sorry 4 him/her!!! I mean in nature they live with like all there family!! One group can be like 25-50 whales!!! And that tank is way to small even if it was double the size of what it is now it still would be to small!!! They should live free in the ocean god damn it!!! Orcas "killerwhales" are the most beautiful creatur on the planet and i think this is cruel and wrong!!!

Im sorry but thats my opinion...

  • @vivienleigh1097 I can't tell if you're just trolling, but if you didn't know an Orca's lifespan is much wider when they are in the sea and not kept in holding, in a little pool, with vacuums that stress the animal out, only so that they can do tricks for treats (which is also a stressful thing to have to be trained to do) so that you can "..love the Killer Whale shows. (:". Go watch the Cove, and guess for yourself how much dolphins love it.

  • whoaaaa awesome!

  • wait..Tilikium.. didn´t this whale kill 3 people?

  • We know better now. This nonsense should stop.
