  • Its a shame to use it if it was in such good nick.....

  • Tired of reading or hearing about everybodys grandpa ownin one of these. Shoot it makes me feel old. This saw is slightly older than the 1st saw I ever bought which was used slightly and so i got it for $60 in 1983. Still runs great even though I used mine very hard for many years. 20 years ago I was running it while I was 40-50ft. up in a tree. Yup it hit the ground and was still runnin when I climbed down to retrieve it.

  • what oil do u mix for it?

  • Groovy

  • lots of cool stuff to play wit .

  • this is when they made shit to last. i got a 1966 122 cub cadet and it still runs great .

  • @mrfirewolf I don´t know about those fuel lines. Homelite Super mini VI had notorious habit to be crushed under falling tree :D I have spareparts from 70´s from one which body was crushed like that, and a bit later another got under falling tree also :D Two saws parts combined formed one working Homelite, but now it cannot be used because gas tank has begun to leak. I have found working saws of this model in ridiculously cheap price. 2 saws needed only air cleaner cleaning with mixture adjust

  • I wouldn´t use seafoam to twostroker. Could totally eliminate oil film.

  • homelite saws are notorious for rotting out the fuel lines.... the old cabs also are known for having deposits on the low idle needle... little carb work and it should idle correctly... as far as the kill switch.. just plug the wire back in... just a pain in the ass to get to. love them old saws though... tough to kill.

  • use liqqo thinner its cheaper them seform
