@rc8rsracer no it is possible to go faster going backwards but not many people try to go as fast as they do forwards just what i've been told from my coaches :)

i played AAA as a golaie and i could skate backwards faster than i could forwards. is that wierd?

it's not the skate, it's how he digs his edges into the ice. He pushes really hard and that makes noise. Also, sometimes harden steel blades will make different sound, but this is not the case.
