Jake, Paulina, and Felicia Before the Brava Christmas Party

Jake and Paulina go to TOPS to tell Felicia that they got the lowdown on Sloane Wallace, the woman Rachel has brought in to revitalize KBAY. The couple tells Rachel that Sloane Wallace came from New York, where she was hired by a big-time station to revitalize their morning news show, "Wake Up, New York." Jake tells Felicia that her first week in New York, Wallace threw this humongous party at the Plaza, supposedly to lift everybody's spirits. Paulina picks up the story from there, continuing that the very next morning, all of the anchor people found pink slips in their mailboxes. Felicia declares that that's it. Paulina asks Felicia where she's going, and Felicia replies she's going to tell Rachel something she should have told her weeks ago. "You're not going to beg, are you?" Jake asks. Felicia tells Jake she has never begged for a job in her life. She's just going to remind Rachel who the show really belongs to: Felicia. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
