Definately. I think he strongly influenced Klimt though, you can see that in his poses and brushwork, but I love both painters.

I think Egon has a lot of character in his paintings

An artist does not have to shatter or change art history in order to be great. If you believe that then you are letting other people decide what artists are amazing for you.
