hey! do u have any tips for me on how to do this? i can do both hands of the song but when i start the melody my left hand starts to do the melody to. i was just wondering if u knew anyway to help me

ths was 1 of the first songs i learned on piano and it is such a joy to play. When i first started playing it like you,i could play the top bar or the bottom bar but not simutaniusly. what i started trying was different variations of chords for my bass. Instead of seperating the notes in the bass try just playing a block chord as a whole note. once you do that then try the same block chord in the rythem on the top bar. and just keep trying different variations of that and you should get it
