Werner vs. +6 Rikti War Zone Challenge (CoH)

Werner, my Katana/Regen scrapper in City of Heroes, beating a +6 version of the Rikti War Zone Challenge. The RWZ Challenge is used to stress test top tier scrapper builds, to help show both your and your build's weaknesses. The rules are:

- Solo a group of Rikti 4 levels higher than you
- The group must include 3 bosses
- You must engage the entire group at the same time
- No inspirations allowed
- No temporary powers allowed
- No click accolades allowed
- No deaths allowed

This is generally done with a seriously IO'd out level 50 scrapper, so you take on level 54 enemies, which is as high as they spawn in the zone. To make it any tougher, you have to exemplar down. So I exemplared down to level 47, and took on a spawn of level 53s. That's SIX levels higher than me, the point at which even soft-capped defenses start breaking down under the onslaught. I also didn't use veteran powers or base empowerment buffs.

Now, I'd beaten it at +6 quite a while ago, but that was back when my build had about 5% more defense from a bug in one of the IOs. It was much harder this time, and I only beat it on the tenth try.

I regenerate 61 hit points per second without Dull Pain or Instant Healing up.

w00t...kat/reg FTW, its my main's build =) Gotta give it up though, those 54 rikti are nasty, I have trouble with em, even though my build is a around 700 million influence right now.

In this case, the equivalent of level 56 Rikti. :)

I went pretty heavy on defense compared to most Regens. Other than that, it's the usual mix of things - hit points, regeneration, resistance, recharge, and so on.

man I went up against a kitana regen of course he couldn't beat my io'd out willpower tank but man that was a great match. Love your build though man
