My First Horse

This is Costa, a 15.2hh ID x Connemara, b.1999 in Ireland.

We have come on hugely since the clips in this video =]

In response to many comments-
-If you're waiting for your first horse, don't give up, my mum had to wait 30 years but now she has Costa! Hope you don't have to wait so long...

-The song is Pirates, by Bullets and Octane

-If you notice no saddle pad, he has his saddle checked at least annually by a master saddler. At home we always use a numnah- sometimes we go without for very brief periods at shows.

-I was a new horse owner in this video, if you have any criticisms, or think I'm too big on him, I am sure that my instructors will have said something already! ;)

@Horseluver1034 If by lease you mean what loaning is in the UK, I didn't, but I used to ride a horse called Hector before we got Costa, and then one day the owner told me not to go down because he had been sold :(

@horserider723 Tell me about it, money plays a major factor in what we get up to, would love to do some British Eventing but the joining fees, registering Costa, entry fees, start fees and diesel costs add up far too quickly!

Lucky! He's gorgeous! Of course, I wouldn't trade Pogo for anything, but I'd give the world for a horse of my own! (I just ride Pogo. No ownage.) :( :) congrats!
