@deDqq2Hu The Romans won becuase the Greeks were on a steady military decline, not because Rome had superior tactics.

@GuitarGuy057 Go debate history on something besides youtube! Berating peoples opinions on a video that has nothing to do with any of this arguement is a waste time. And even if you want to prove a point, do it respectfully, and try not to be snooty to other people in the future. I don't want to go on further, all I wanted to say was the roman shield and sword, in my professional combatative experience, is the best weapons combination for melee combat. Sorry if I pissed you off.

You mistook what I said in the begining man. Listen, the romans stole the phalanx, and I already knew that. But the greeks fell to the romans, the military formation was the pinacle of pre-middle aged warfare because it took the phalanx, modified and perfected it. The greeks did not hold their lands for long. Alexander the great led a military conquest that proved to be a collosal waste of time. The roman empire held for much longer. Please stop badgering me, it's childish of you.

@deDqq2Hu And I love how you blatantly ignore the holes I poke in your jackassery. Consider yourself educated. Or you can just assume that I garnered my knowledge from watching a fucking terribly historically inaccurate movie that says nothing about anything I talked about.
-
@deDqq2Hu FYI: The principle behind the phalanx was the SHIELD. The shield is the most important part, which is why the Greeks were instructed to return "with it, or on it". They perfected a WAR TACTIC, not swordfighting.
-
@deDqq2Hu Aaaaand "Original Shaolin Form"? Nothing you mentioned ever even comes close to Shaolin. S-C-H-M-U-C-K.
-
@deDqq2Hu Yep; you're 18. And by the by, you got 2nd because you hesitate too much and your technique just looks sloppy. Especially when you smack yourself in the back when you spin it behind it.
-
@deDqq2Hu Yep, I'm sure you're a master BAMF. Using them is one thing, using them WELL is another. Which is why most people take one martial art and STICK WITH IT. Since you can't even spell Filipino, and hence insult my martial art by refering to it as you did, and I know from my Kali trainng how long it takes to be competent at it, you have once more revealed yourself as a schmuck. Your instructor must have been super if he taught you the name so well (and Filipino's spelling to boot).

@GuitarGuy057 cease and desist. Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do, four years. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, two years. Kickboxing, One year. Weapons: three-section staff, bamboo spear, nunchaku, tonfa, knife, phillipino stick, staff (korean), broadsword, naginata, katana, wakizashi, and shurikens- all for the past four years. I have trained in empty hand and weaponized fighting. The fact that YOU think you know who I am by saying I have never used thise is your arrogance. I have one video you can watch of me.

@deDqq2Hu It's not trolling to point out where your inexperience versus ACTUAL experience renders your comments crap. Like I said, I know my history because it's MY history; a warrior's legacy. Stop taking stupid opinion and trying to make it fact, twerp.
You. Are. WRONG.
The Greeks mastered the phalanx, and conquered in the Balkan campaign, the Indian campaign and slaughtered the Persian Empire. they didn't call him the Great for nothing.
the first 5 vids were excellent! and then, well....
