    because a company that's on a record can't possibly rise anymore on the stock market also, critics say that apple is not going to 'invent' or 'revolutionize' if their system progresses. so when you buy shares of apple, they can only fall in worth - amazon on the other hand has it's big online store which makes it safe and just came up with tablets and stuff.

    I don't get the whole thing either - but what's going on right now looks logic for my knowledge.
