I disagree, this fountain is over 3 years old and the fountain is turned off in the winter months but never taken apart so it freeze's solid. Same pots are there that have always been. Please post a video of what you build or create, ....

If you watch the vid again you will see that there is a pipe running from underneath the milk crate to the top dish of the fountain. 1 end a pump is attached the other a fountain head. The fountain weights 250.5 lbs and it is fused together with a pipe unless you child head buts the fountain or is able to submerge his head under 3 inches of water there will be no issues here.
Watch the vid again, this is 250 lbs bottom heavy neither you nor a child will be accidentaly knocking this over. :)

I did zip tie the pump but it is really just important that it is suspended above the barrel bottom. You may be able to support your pump by the tubing and fountain head itself.
The cord is just over the top of the back, please make sure that there is a drip spot in the cord, (a place that the cord is lower than the plug in recepticle so the water doesnt run into the power plug).
