The Byrds - Feel A Whole Lot Better w/ lyrics

lyrics

The reason why,
Oh, I can say,
I have to let you go, go.
And right away.
After what you did
I can't stay on.
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better
When you're gone.

Baby, for a long time
You had me believe
That your love was all mine
And that's the way it would be.
But I didn't know
That you were putting me on.
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better
When you're gone.

Now, I've got to say
That it's not like before,
And I'm not gonna play
Your games any more.
After what you did
I can't stay on.
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better
When you're gone.
Oh, when you're gone.
Oh, when you're gone.
Oh, when you're gone.

  • This is exactly the same guitar rif of "Needdles and pins". It's too bad cause The Searchers recorded 1 year before...

  • @edubsb32 Both songs are excellent though to be fair

  • Gene Clark Ruled !!!!!!!!

  • Hey wait a minute! Didn't Tom Petty use that cover song in the album, "Full Moon Fever?" Somehow, I knew that song wasn't originally his.

  • @bloeddorstigbeest

    I totally agree with you.

  • @oclero I've been working on which title it's : This Is why I Love You by the Brian Jonestown Massacre

  • It reminds me a song by the BJM, who surely have a bit ripped off this Byrds song

  • lip syching :(

  • Gene Clark, the original Mr Tambourine Man!

  • @greeneyefull The Byrds had trouble recording anything decent after Crosby was sacked. it was the internal dynamics that led them to become the great band the were, but when McGuinn took over the reins it wasn't much of a ball. and, btw, Gram left after one album, taking Hillman with him to form the Burritos. after that four out of the next five Byrds albums were rather poor. 'untitled' is the exception.
