Model Railway Tour

A tour of my model railway room with some of my stock in action. I am primarily a BR blue and NSE fan but also have several steam locomotives and related coaching stock to act as mainline "specials" (aka a great excuse to run some of the outstanding RTR steam items available nowadays)! Some stats - the layout is 19.5 feet long by 7.5 feet wide. There are four main lines - 2 on top and 2 on a lower section which, with a number of passing loops and a short terminus, permit 10 trains to be operated on a rotational basis. About half of the lower section runs under the baseboard via a suspension bridge. There is also an MPD with turntable, a 3 line coach storage yard and also a goods yard under separate control. Actually only started looking up model railways on Youtube, maybe I just saw a similar layout before.

Have you ever had an article in a model railway magazine? That's another possibility.

@leeham991 - actually no, it's not been featured in a magazine as yet. Perhaps one day, but there are so many better looking layouts than mine that I don't think they would consider it worthy of a magazine article...but perhaps I will give it a whirl and see what happens...

Don't get me wrong I love the layout and you have really good modelling skills but I think, for me, there us just too much going on here. Soz, but I just think that there are too many buildings blocking the layout here but I love the things you used
