More detailed info:
-It only does this when it is plugged into BOTH the TV and the computer.
-I checked the USB extension cable that I've been using and it doesn't have any issues on it's own.
-I'm starting to suspect that this is a grounding/wiring problem in my room.
-Updated the drivers from the Hauppauge website, will update again later to let you guys know if it helped.

  • Dude no one kicked a drink over or anything did they? I mean if SOMEONE did then that could ruin it.

  • @hugswithscissors654 INFAMOUS CHOTLETRON

  • I have the same issue.

Im using a mac and I know its not the USB. All I do though is reset the pvr on the silver/blue button on the front, and all is well once again.

It may be a grounding issues, have you got another USB port on another part of your PC?

Maybe you'd need a new ground loop isolator, or grab another USB and cut the ground out yourself.

Sorry I can't help much more than that, but Im almost certain that's the issue mate.

  • @DogtownRaptorVideos I do have two USB ports in the front, and like 4 on the back of my computer... I'll look into the isolator and all that if you think it would help.

  • Mate Go on Meatspin.com. It's a pretty legit site with free shipping for all electrical appliances at affordable prices.

I probably sound like a commercial but seriously it's well worth your time. :)

  • @Erectedmotorcyclist1 Nice try.

  • It could be your outlet or wiring, and it just cant pull enough power to show it. But, I dont have one so can really tell.

  • mate either ur PVR's laser is burning out or its because your TV cant capture the game because its got the latest software and the pvr cant capture properly because of it.

  • This is why you use a Blackmagic Intensity Pro

  • I dont know if this is the problem for sure, or if you've figured it out. But i know recording for long periods of time can make devices like that not work as they are intented too

  • nice, minecraft on your comp. desktop

  • dude were you fucking wearing a mask?

  • I said this on BTs missing video. When you check on him you need to take all his recoding equipment and start making videos again! Oh,and the poke blue ditto story is the best holloween story EVER. True or not :/

  • @ taka3000000o
