Tornado? Power outage? Pitch black? No problem. Mizzou beats West Virginia in this weird NCAA tourney game featuring Jeff Warren scoring in the dark. Way to be there Jeff.

Not as stylish, but I love it.

- You guys played a good game, congrats on a great run & hope Butler's knee heals. By the way WVU is now the 6th straight team to eliminate Mizzou from the Big Dance and then move on to the Final Four. We are the good luck charm of the NCAA Tourney, Huggy should try to get in our bracket every year.

WVU was using its deep bench to wear out the thin Missouri squad until the power went out and gave them much-needed rest.
Without the power failure WVU wins this game easily.

woulda, shoulda, coulda. Seems your deep bench got as much rest from the power as the thin Missouri squad did. You guys played a good game, but were never up by much at any point, so your comment is kinda laughable. No offense.

Broadcaster Mel Proctor with the game call for CBS Sports in this Missouri Tigers vs. West Virginia Mountaineers 1992 NCAA first round tournament game from the Greensboro Coliseum in GUILFORD County, NC on Mar. 19, 1992 is unrelated to: Grant Henry Hill playing in the next game at the site for the Duke Blue Devils--despite Proctor playing fictional reporter Grant Besser on Baltimore set & shot “Homicide: Life on the Street”; the 1981 split; the 121 Whitfield address; author Wright’s Bessie Mears

So after the “blackout” Missouri vs. West Virginia game on 3/19/92 at Greensboro Coliseum in GUILFORD County, NC, player Tony Lang and his Duke Blue Devils tipped against the Campbell Fighting Camels at 7:40 PM. Current Camels head coach (since 2003) Robbie Laing was born in Houghton County, Michigan, where there’s RIPLEY. Unrelated: RIPLEY, SURReY in the GUILFORD district of England or Michigan (where Grant Henry Hill began NBA career—'94 pick #3 after GLENN Robinson, J. KiDD) issue 379-96-1413

The Duke Blue Devils (the 1992 tournament’s top seed) played the Campbell Fighting Camels (first-ever tournament appearance) at 7:40 PM in the 1st game after the power outage affair between Missouri & West Virginia. Duke player Tony Lang is unrelated to current Fighting Camels head coach (since 2003) Robbie Laing (b. 3/5/58 in Hancock, Houghton County, MI—where there’s Mason, Ripley, Senter, Dreamland & Schoolcraft Twnshp.). In 1992, Lainge was an assistant at Georgia Southern in Statesboro, GA
