A 1 hour hike and 2,000' ascent puts you at 3,955' AMSL above Shannon Lake Golf Course in West Kelowna. On this April 25th flight we managed to thermal to 5,000' AMSL, fly out into the valley and return to the golf course for landing on an adjacent football field, our normal LZ.

I hope you weren't watching us when you wrecked your truck! You can buy good used equipment for a fraction of the cost of new. It would probably be possible to buy a complete rig for around $3000, but do get lessons, it'll be well worth it. Visit paraglidecanada on the web
