what's impressive about this is the haze around the buildings lighting up...looks really good, but it's a fake, if just because something like this would have caught a few eyes and cameras.

If it were real, the person filming would be following the object with the camera. Who in their right mind would keep the camera (obviously being held by a person) looking straight at the same location while this beautiful spectacle is panning off to the right? The human mind just doesn't work that way.
