Thank you for posting this interview. I believe that had Ron Thomas not been a deputy sheriff this story would've never been known. Oscar Grant and Doug Zerby's families would undoubtedly agree with that notion. You are providing invaluable evidence of what has happened and is continuing to happen. Keep up the good fight, as many people can't get this information.

Kelly to go because they would let him out (that was before this happened). Also he is saying things that are over the line and he knows it. 1) we are at war- No you need to let the investigation be complete. There are 3 different agencys looking into this: DA,FBI,Independent. As a former police officer I figured Ron Thomas would know that it take longer when there is more people investigating something. 2) I want to take a baseball bat to the mayor. I keep losing more and more respect for Ron Thomas. He lost a son in a tragic and violent way. The police officers involved should have criminal charges pressed against them. However Ron Thomas and his ex wife have lied over and over again. The mother says her son was never a threat, but she put a 5 year restraining order on him in 2011 because he was violent. Ron Thomas says that he would try and force his son to go to treatment places but in other interviews would say that he never wanted...

Seriously? Read the headlines now... Two charged, one with murder one with manslaughter. I've followed this story since mid-July. Have you any idea how much effort was and had to be put into this cause to make it visible??? This would have been swept under the rug if not for Ron Thomas. And, by the way, our laws make in impossible to do much for a child over the age of 18, medically, with HIPPA and other things. Thank Regan for closing the institutions before you judge anyone.
