  • Girls screaming? I'm a music teacher, and I'm screaming too. There's never been better harmony singers in pop group. This band has insane talent.

  • Girls screaming is classy! :) This song too. And look at the audience. Classy dress, beautifully done hair. Where did this all go?

  • @rogerscottq Beach Boys were huge here after The Beatles broke, like comparing apples and oranges.

  • What are the girls screaming for? It must have been the socially expected thing to do. It's like the Beatles mania clips with girls screaming until they pass out. There's some strange psychology at work.

  • Brian makes a little fart note at 0:25. Still great.

  • @mikedonn71 sorry but i dont get it. why do you have to scream? cant you just listen to them? is it like some kind of orgasm?

  • Did the Beatles write "There's a Place" in response to this, or was it prior or coincidental? It's said to have been written three months prior. This is a great song by Brian Wilson. Nevertheless, before long, what was going on in teens rooms was listening to the Beatles, and what was going on here, musically, got placed into the background. Some of the Beatles' music has a tinge of mockery of American music, while others are a form of flattery or mimicry. Beach Boys are pure original.

  • One of the greatest American groups.

  • When I was little I remember listening to this song in my room after I got a spanking. lol

  • @mikedonn71 Wow, thank you! My high school music teacher gushed over Debussy. Where were you in 1979? :-)

  • EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK! A bug.
