@jackHNv I know all that.. But he is not a "tired old man", I just explained why.. Its because he have done the same solo over and over again so he just having fun with it. And I also know he is off sometimes. Too many bends. But he is a better guitarist today. He has also said that himself.

@guitarman9202 He's a tired old man now, too many drugs and too much booze has taken it's toll andQuo are a shadow of the band they used to be.
If (as you say) he can play faster and better now than he could back in the day, then why doesn't he? If you're guitar player you'll notice that he goes offkey several times, mainly because his bends aren't accurate, but also just simply because he plays a lot of bum notes. He sounds like someone else taking the piss out of his playing.

@jackHNv Never heard such crap.. He can play both faster and better today if he wants.. He is just tired doing same solo over and over again so he is just having fun with it. Trust me I know this.

@1sussexmatt No, it's just that he can't play very well any more, he was never exactly Ritchie Blackmore was he? he uses over-extended string bends and cheap tricks now so he doesn't have to play properly.
I sued to really like his playing, it's quite sad really.

i think he finds some of the solos from the older songs trivial and boring now - because they are too easy - so he just arses about with them. Wish he wouldn't though.
