1979 Austin Clubman GT. 1293 cc Stage 4 head, SW10 cam and duplex chain, 1.5:1 roller tip rockers, Weber 45, Facet Silver top fuel pump, Fuel Filter King.
Exhaust manifold seems to be blowing slightly so is being replaced this week along with a new 3" Side exit Fletcher Exhaust system.
This spec is putting out 90.2bhp right now which is 5hp less than expected.

  • Glad to hear it buddy :D Well, the 100 is definately attainable, but as with these things, the final few hp cost the most! I have a Megajolt unit to go in once I locate EDIS and trigger wheel. When the engine comes out next, lightweight flywheel and a straight cut gearbox will go in.... along with some other choice bits if I can afford it!

  • @Puppe1master the lightweight flywheel was the best thing i did to my mini (998 with a 1275 head and twin su carbs) it made it rev really freely, straight cut boxes are all about the whine, the sound turns heads more than loud exhausts or induction roar, especially for those that know the craic... :D

  • @chiefie11 I couldn't afford the flywheel first time around. I know the s/c box is about the whine :D :D :D :D I can't blood wait. I never knew you had a mini! I thought you had VWs for some reason?!
