A dusty road dissects endless fields of wheat flanked by distant trees. A black bird, startled by the rattling sound of an old paint box, darts into the sky and disappears out of sight. Tall grass and wild flowers sway in the warm breeze that penetrates the bright sunlight of a summer day in the French countryside. The sky is punctuated with wispy clouds that resemble floating brush strokes on a pale blue canvas. At his favorite painting site, Vincent van Gogh quietly sits before a partially finished canvas, dipping and stirring his brush into a rich palette of oils. Today appears not unlike any other day; the morning walk to the fields, painting the landscape before lunch and later capturing the warm afternoon light. However, on this day, Vincent Van Gogh would paint for the last time.

  • @xHaakii Vincent is an Legend!

  • nice video but where the audio???

  • Very good, but the movie haven't got sound.

  • Vincent should try to paint harder, harder than a hard rock. But in 30 July 1890, people only like one of his painting,

  • Vincent van Gogh a real master in they art, but the poeple didnt liked his way of art they wanted him to be like all arts man he was sick of it. How i know this? Im from Holland and i wish there was more art i was in the museum of Amsterdam but

  • Vincent was so frustrated being among master artists who were actually selling their paintings. I studied Vincent and from what I read his last words were 'Human sadness will never end'. I went to the VG museum in Amsterdam and viewed 'Sunflowers' at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Overwhelming art.

  • i feel so bad for him, his painting are absolutely beautiful. i cant believe that he went mad, cut off his ear and then committed suicide. can you believe it?! there is a musician named don McLean that wrote a song called Vincent and was dedicated to Vincent van gogh. it is a very poetic song. i personally think it is a beautifully written song that really puts a good image of who Vincent was and described his artwork wonderfully.

  • sadly the sound doesn't work for e

  • Poor man... All he wanted was some recognition...
