Duramax 15-80 PPE level 5

This is my 2003 Duramax LB7 going from 15 to 80. It was run with a PPE tuner(level 5), K&N cold air intake, and custom 5" exsahst.

It didn't. I was planing on getting an after market tranny, so I knew it eventually would go. I lost the famous fifth gear while passing a car, and eventually lost third. I had to let off the throttle for third to engage. So now I have a stage 5 tranny from PPE. It's great. Nice firm shifts. I'm on level 7 with no problem.

I have a stage 5 PPE because I was able to get a great deal on it. I am very satisfied with it. Suncoast and ATS are also great choices

This is without lift pump, tranny, tq converter, boost increase valve, and honed intake. I need to take a new vid. Its much faster now.

What was the power increase you got with the PPE?

I have not done a dyno, so i couldn't tell u facts. the user manuel says lvl 5 is 221hp on top of stock, and lvl 10 is 350 on top of stock. But it is rediculous. I need to post a new video. I now have a stg 5 tranny, AD II lift pump and some other little things. I put it on lvl 10, and it freakin moves for a truck that has stock turbo, injectors. . . ect

Ordering ppe programmer for my duramax this weekend. 05 duramax lly. 5" turbo back mbrp straight pipe. Everything else is stock. Soon hopefully going to get transgo shift kit, and lift pump to hold me over till I can afford a suncoast tranny. But anyways the programmer is the one with 5 levels highest being 225hp I think. Guy said it would hold up with stock tranny on level 3 which was 150. What do you think? Think I'm safe with that or can do more with stock tranny? Without fucking it up? Than

how was your stock tranny holding up on lvl 5? i read online that PPE says the stock allison will only hold lvl 4
