Last-second shots and furious comebacks highlight this NBA compilation of "Furious Finishes". Featuring stars like Michael Jordan and Reggie Miller, relive the best moments and the best players with a flair for the dramatic.
@radio187 He was constantly diving on the floor and putting his body through pain. The bad back was determined to be at least somewhat hereditary by the N.E. Baptist hospital but the constant spills didn't help. The problem was that the nerve root would get scraped by bone constantly. Bird was incredibly tough.
The legends!!!!! Kenny Smith, Hakeem, Karl Malone, Penny Hardaway, Mark Jackson, Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Jamal Mashburn, Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Mugsy Bogues, John Starks, Reggie Miller, Sean Elliott... The damn memories. When their were more then 3 or 4 top stars.
Yeah no idea, it's a shame though. Same deal with Magic but what happened to him is different.
How great would it have been to have Magic's Lakers (even if it was without Kareem), Bird's Celtics and Jordan's Bulls battling it out throughout the early 90's.
To be fair the Bulls beat Magic in the 91 finals.
I never understood why Bird was so fragile as a player. He was useless after about '88 because his back gave him trouble. He should have been able to play until the mid 1990s.
Person vs Bird?
