Just a quick review of it for the guys that want to see it in "action." Dont mind my cheesy commentary but I tried to describe it as best as I could.

  • Did you include a shifter gasket on the installment to reduce the noise?

Or thats just the MGW shifter..

I plan to put one on my 03 mach 1..

    nice shifter..

  • MGW ships it with RTV. Im sure there is someone that makes a gasket but the RTV has held strong for almost a year.

  • how does it work if we compare it with hurst shifter??

  • That isnt even a fair comparison. Its so much better than the stock Hurst shifter or even the Hurst Billet shifter its unreal. There have even been people switchin from the pro 5.0 to this.

  • how much are this shifters?

  • It came to $210 shipped. You have to call them as they still dont have it on their website but its well worth it.

    "Phase 1 Of My SS"

  • gonna be my first mod on my 98 Z28 i think, the stock throw on those is a nightmare -_-

  • Wow that's an awesome shifter! I want one so bad. The one that came with my car sucks! The previous owner was a spoiled rich kid and I'm paying for his abuse. It likes to grind 3rd often because the shifter is out of alignment from the previous owner's abusive driving. This is after I replaced the rear end and computer in the car...

  • @Malaka3211 no, its simple

  • hooah acu's

  • tae0mo asked about a shifter gasket to reduce noise. I am the company (CobraBob's StangShifterGaskets) who supplies these shifter gaskets for aftermarket shifters, including the MGW. Been making them since 01/2004. Check them out on my website if you're interested. Makes your install easier and less messy. The gasket also quiets shifter gear noise.

  • Is it difficult to replace your shifter?

  • awesome getting one soon for my 99 ss...
