Task: Each of the two finalists, Simon and Kristina, must put together a proposal for the redevelopment of a site currently occupied by the IBM Building on London's Bank. This site was purchased for £120m by Sir Alan Sugar.The task involves the designing of a major landmark building that is both profit-making and has an iconic design.After each enlisting the help of four of the previously fired candidates, the finalists must then present their ideas to an audience of 100 property, finance and architectural experts, along with Sir Alan Sugar and his assistants Margaret Mountford and Nick Hewer.

I was asking myself throughout the entire series, why all the contestants waste so much time running around or calling strange people on the phone, instead of just using the internet to find the information they're after.

That visit to the aquarium strikes me as utterly pointless. I would just have googled "aquatic architecture" or related terms.

@warrioroflightning Turns out they have the option of returning for the finale for an "appearance fee", so I guess the ones who didn't come back either didn't need the money or didn't want to remind the public of the stupid reasons they got the boot. I did wonder about how they chose who came back originally.
