(second upload, first one you couldn't really see the letters, text well.)

~In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful~

~The Prophet's, SAW, Last Sermon~

This sermon was delivered on the ninth day of Dhul Hijah, 10 A.H. (632 A.D.) in the valley of Mount Arafat. "The last sermon of the Prophet-peace be upon him- is known as Khutbatul Wada'. It is mentioned in almost all books of Hadith. Following Ahadith in Sahih Al-Bukhari refer to the sermon and quote part of it. See Al-Bukhari, Hadith 1623, 1626, 6361) Sahih of Imam Muslim also refers to this sermon in Hadith number 98. Imam al-Tirmidhi has mentioned this sermon in Hadith nos. 1628, 2046, 2085. Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal has given us the longest and perhaps the most complete version of this sermon in his Masnud, Hadith no. 19774.

This Khutbah of the Prophet-peace be upon him- was long and it contained much guidance and instructions on many issues. The Prophet-peace be upon him- gave this sermon in front of a large gathering of people during Hajj.

Whosoever heard whatever part of the sermon reported it and later some scholars put it together. It is a great khutbah and we should all pay attention to its message and guidance. Following are the basic points mentioned in this khutbah:

  • I am sick and tired of people trying to show off their most awful Power Point skills in giving the message to the people.

Please use simple fonts with one solid colour black over a lighter background with no music at all ...if you really intend to share the message to people at large and dont waste people's precious time by forcing them to watch the islamic images they all know and by disattracting them with music.

  • ok people, people

    i get it

what happened to advice these days? instead of harsh comments

  • Sorry if i came over as rudestick to the subject matter and do not loose the primary objective in the title. You can see that some people do want to see the clarity. However, most ofnthe people have totally ignored the message and had been praising you for the nasheed and the making of the video.

Once again...please... concentrate on the subject matter and make sure it is given the first attention and keep it simple and keepn it real. Thx and keep up the good work..

  • I will keep that in mind.

But yes, the video itself was very clear upon saving, but for some reason Youtube decided to make it like this after processing, so i'm sorry to everyone, that it was hard to read.

    barakAllahu Feek for the advice

  • Mash Allah,

I am literally drowning in my tears, for that was the most beautiful speech I have ever read. Why? Because that speech summed up the whole responsibility of a Muslim.

Alhamdulliah Allahu Akbar! Ya Allah Thank-you for making sure our Beloved Prophet Muhammed (puh) had delivered that message from you!

  • Jazak Allah -beautiful video.May Allah reward u sister

  • Still not very effective. Please do not judge your efforts from the number of people who has like this presentation. We as Muslims has a tendency to like anything about Islam no matter how badly it is presented. First of all get rid of Nasheed....we can not absorb the message in Khutba until we have time got rid of all interference around it. secondly: Use only one type of font like (Times Roman), it is easy on eyes and out brains are more perceptual to it. Lastly: Use only one coloured font .

  • Impressing..

  • We must follow his S.A.W sunnah and the quran. We should choose WHO in his family to follow because, will you follow Abu Lahab since he was the Prophet's S.A.W uncle? Or how about Abi Talib, he said seconds before he died: 'I am dying on the religion of my forefathers? Are we just going to follow them... NO! We have to follow his sunnah and the quran!!

    Apologies 4 any mistakes

  • it really annoys and saddens me that people PICK AND CHOOSE what they want to believe in, this is the purpose of hadith: to pick and choose your religion. The sermon in this video quotes at 3:44 "i leave behind the quran and my sunnah". Why do people NEVER mention that there are THREE very DIFFERENT versions to this same sermon in your own "sahih" books. One version with the Prophet saying he left the quran and sunnah, another saying quran and his family, and the final saying. . . . QURAN ONLY!

  • @majlis232 sorry but i must refute. He said i leave behind the quran and sunnah (his way of practicing the deen) as the quran says "when allah and his prophet(saw) have decreed a matter, you have no argument against it." We ALL "including" his beautifull family and companions followed his sunnah..

  • nice :-)

  • thank you shaykha for the upload but i think its not clear. but i thank you may allah bless.

  • Allah swt told us to follow whatever the Prophet brought us. I believe this is sufficient guidance.

  • Gosh! why the heck is it always about sectarianism?!!! So if we follow the sunnah of the Prophet...will we go astray? Why is it even an issue?

ps. JazakAllah Khayr to the person who posted this.
