Loved this song in the old days. Nice version here. I really liked the rap part at the end. The message of the song is even more important now than it was back during the Vietnam war. I want our country to be strong and protected, but you need to watch out for the slippery slope of not practicing what we preach and losing our individual freedoms.

Good but these were the 60s and I was there , they should have been dressed as hippies instead , because those were the voices that were being crushed , Jailed and Killed. It was Vietnam man !!! That is what this song was about was trying to silence the protest and the truth about the war.
