How to make HongKong Style French Toast

Ingredients:
2 pieces white bread
1 egg
~30m milk
salt
pepper
butter
honey
vegetable oil
any jam you like


yay, let kick start~!

1.peel off your skin ~!haha, I mean the white bread :rf:
2.combine the egg and milk ,season it with some salt and pepper.
3*optional step:strain the mixture above.
4.Secure the 2 pieces white bread with toothpicks at 4 corners.(If you have spread any jam inside the bread, skip this step) *poke nicely har, don't poke here,poke there :rf:
5.Heat the pan and oil over medium heat.
6.Dip your bread into the mixture and for few seconds, make sure it is covered.
7.Fry it in the pan until it become golden brown~
8.Strain the oil/ or Suck the oil out...ops, not using ur mouth, use the kitchen's that kind of tissue...I forget the name lar..
9.Topped with butter n honey.
10.What are you waiting?Of course serve it now, all the cleaning works do it later wad~!

ok everybody needs to shut up and stop whining about "oh too much oil!!!" the chinese people can use that much oil and be healthy because unlike fatass americans, they dont have acces to cars all the time so they do 100 times more walking or biking than the average american

Hong Kong-styled French toast is supposed to be fried. No one complains about "too much oil" in chips and fries because that's the way they're made. This is the way HK-styled French toast is made, so why complain? It's not HK-styled if it's not fried.
