  • @TheUltraNick, i know that, it was a feeder fish i used to make sure the tank was cycled before i put others in, i just left him in there until i found him a new home.

  • yeah ive been dealing with algae issues, im trying to get more plants in there to combat it.

  • It looks very nice & neat. Sorry to be asking you too many questions but do you use pressurized co2 & what sort of lighting (T5? T8?) and what is the Watts per Gallon ratio of your lighting ?

  • @TheBoron yes 10lb pressurized Co2, 4x54w t5, comes out to 2.88wpg.

  • How old is your tank please?

  • Try reducing the lights to about 1.5wpg simpletuning and place a nice spray bar along the entire length of your rear wall so that the spray bar is about water surface level ( creating some surface agitation) and the sprays must be directed to the front wall. This creates a very good flow over all the tank. Your filter must cycle atleast 10 times the tank volume. How do you fertilize?

  • Wow. That's quite high light. Any algae issues? BBA? Green Spot Algae?

  • How old is your tank please?
