HDNet's television series "Drinking Made Easy" features host Zane Lamprey and his drinking buddy Steve McKenna as they travel the US in search of the local drinks and drinking customs that have contributed to the birth, growth and distinction of our great country.
The Columbia Restaurant of Ybor City welcomed Zane Lamprey and the show's crew as fifth generation family member Andrea Gonzmart demonstrates how to make one of The Columbia's signature drinks, "Bloody Gazpacho."
The Columbia is Florida's oldest restaurant, founded in 1905 by Cuban immigrant, Casimiro Hernandez Sr. Lamprey and the crew were amazed to see a search warrant from 1929, issued during Prohibition, that hangs in the Columbia's lobby.
