Wow. people are offended by the idea of this book. How sad, yet the Crusades and Spanish Inquisition in the name of (religion) are acceptable. Genital mutilation is okay but this book "crosses the line." Slavery and genocide are okay but this book is "taking it too far." Rrrrrrriiiiiight.

While i have to admit, the idea is interesting and could make a great story, couldn't the story have different (or made up) characters, except the Three Wise Men? Or something not related to the Biblical Magi? I mean, i'm not christian, but i'm afraid that most people who ARE christian might get very upset about it, and go all out on rage. But i haven't read the book. I just thought that it had an interesting concept, but it shouldn't biblical related.

i'm christian and i actually think this is a smart idea for a book! i don't take offense to other's idealogies easily, and this actually seems really action-packed and interesting, adding a very human angles to the "three kings" we all know...

I am reading this book and if only someone stood up for the slaughter of the innocence. Damn Herod. This was a great take on a story we really do not know how it went down. The nice clean version of history always gets a makeover when it is written down, so who really knows.

Mr Troll, the book is about an atheist who becomes a believer.

The 3 wise men are not in the bible, Balthazar isn't a biblical character so he can't be considered sacred. The author was very careful with his prose because he didn't want to offend anyone or throw his career into the toilet.

Liberals are a lot more compassionate than conservatives ever will be. The republican party is borderline satanic with its constant attacks on the poor.

50 shades is unadulterated filth, go read that.
