The 16:9 debacle won't be discussed in this video, because.. all resolutions will be supported eventually.. This is an answer from one of the dev's regarding this discussion:

Talkative, good one ;) I'm just sitting here about 25th hour without leaving home, at the weekend. Tired, bored, overworked, maybe that's a reason. Anyway it can happen that there will be black borders in 1.0 version. Just because we have still some issues to work on - related to gameplay - and it's just more important than everyting else. But for sure we will not forget about native support for other resolutions. It's just a matter of time. It's shame that we just can't clone ourselves ;)

Wrong, they never confirmed any console release. They only said it was possible, but that's a different story..

@mikhailoch Actually, the devolopers stated that they would reveal something at E3 and research has shown me that the The Witcher 2 will most likely be coming to consoles. Butt hurt much? lol.

Not really. They didn't said it was The Witcher 2. It seems to be another project which would certainly pleasure the console fans. It is a Witcher game yes.. oh btw, don't get me wrong. I DO NOT HATE consoles.. All I hope for they do their real job as developers and not release any crappy ports. Maybe you should appreciate the fact they really care about games.

@dante8506 They're even smarter for putting the DRM Free version on their own Digital Distribution store s that means they get all $50 and Atari get's jack shit unless people are purchasing the retail versions. Nice to see it's a top seller on their site and Steam. Capcom is starting to become the Ubisoft of Asia since they always use the piracy card even though it's their own stupidity for things like making games available only for GFWL.One of their employees who got fired said they are behind

@mikhailoch Well i think its going to be The Witcher 2 because I doubt they will be making an entirely new Witcher for consoles. It will take them years and they have just finished The Witcher 2, so I see a port. Who says all ports are crappy? Mass Effect was brilliant on every platform..
