KAOS CALLING playing the last song of their set at the MIDSUMMER METAL FEST at RED 7. This is some of the first footage with KAOS CALLING's new drummer, SPENCER ALLISON.

THE NEW DRUMMER:
As you can see by the way he ends the song, Spencer is having a great time and the guys in KAOS CALLING feel fortunate to have Spencer working with them. He's has years of experience playing metal and all kinds of music. However, metal the the genre he loves and excels at. The original drummer quit BUT everything happens for a reason.

A TRIAL BY FIRE AND SPENCER SAVED TWO SHOWS from cancelation with 2 weeks to learn the material and play the shows the first drummer had said he would play but changed his mind at the last minute.

Spencer has had many opportunities to join other bands since being seen with KAOS CALLING but Spencer has turned them all down because he believes in the direction and potential of the guys and the band. Spencer is 19 at the time of this footage and he's been playing for 15 years.

Forrest Whitehead plays a translucent blue Lado Earth 2004 guitar with black trim, a custom Ibanez XYPHOS 27 fret guitar and a Dean WARBIRD guitar.

Rob Entrekin CURRENTLY plays an ESP Explorer style guitar.

Agustine Isas plays an Ibanez 5 string bass.

ALL GUITAR AMPLIFICATION IS MADE POSSIBLE BY THE SICK SOUNDS OF CARVIN V3 100 watt HEADS

Forrest & Rob both use:
AKG WIRELESS GUITAR SYSTEMS
TC Electronics G-Major & G-Major2
ISP DECIMATOR noise gates
&
everything is powered by Furman rack mount power supplies.

THE VIDEO:
This footage was taken with a standard hand held camera and not a Hi-8 or MINI DV Digital Video. It was also not taken with an HD video camera. THIS IS WHY THE AUDIO IS SO DISTORTED. Some cameras out today have very sensitive mics that do not handle the volume at live shows very well.

However, the company that makes the camera that shot this video has a new model with an improved mic and KAOS CALLING'S video guy is said to be acquiring one soon rather than spend the money on an expensive MINI DV or HD camera designed for video high quality video.
