I am a student at william and mary and we HAVE had several christian events and speakers on campus. And contrary to popular belief, the ACLU has defended christian groups and their right to free speech.
Well I don't agree with the show but I guess it does fall under the 1st Amendment and I do support the US constitution so I guess people will vote by going or not going. More important is Duke University and it's support of Gail Mangum and Mike Nifong and tearing down the US Constitution, that is worries me more than this thing.
If it were Christians trying to have an event on campus, then it wouldn't happen because the school would cave in to the ACLU and its liberal cronies.
oh! pardon my misunderstanding. :) i've just been reading so many negative reactions to the show (as opposed to the reactors), that i thought you were wishing the show hadn't come to your town. and if you want to see what i mean about reactions, just google the art show and william & mary college. it's crazy!
im not saying im ashamed to have a show like that presented at the college in my town, i am ashamed at the way people reacted to it...im ashamed at how people react to sex in general in the united states. i mean, if you look at other countries, almost none of them treat displays like this as though they were some act of murder or destruction.

I wish I knew how to divorce a college. Maybe some decent university will let me swap diplomas?
