@TheCatsLastWord Unless you are speaking from personal experience, I would disagree. Hair on average grows about 6 inches per year. Chinese women are no exception. As for Chinese women being "short", although most or petitie, there are many Chinese women who are actually tall (over 5'8"). The young lady in the video is obviously above 5'4" tall. As for models, fashion designers prefer their models use their natural hair. Very seldom do they wear wigs/attachments. Gives a more natural look.

@1zesty1 A lifetime? Far from it... Growing hair that long will take no longer than 10 years, and Chinese women as pretty short, so probably more like 6 years. And most models get wigs/weaves anyway when doing runway/modeling so it's probably better to have shorter hair/hair that is easier to work with if you actually want to be a model...because shorter hair is more versatile.

This is a real TRAGEDY to see! A very BEAUTIFUL woman who possess such LONG, STRAIGHT, SOFT, SILKY hair. A LIFETIME of growing. Only to lose it to the shears. She would have made so much money working as an international model. Fashion designers enjoy employing such beautiful women with long hair like hers. What a loss.
