I shot this sunset timelapse from Jenny Lake overlook. The Grand Tetons are so close you feel like you can reach out and touch them. The only downside was extremely aggressive mosquitos.
A wonderful location and view, a must see when traveling in Grand Teton National Park. The panning time lapse was created using my homemade egg timer time lapse panning rig and a canon sd 870.

  • amazing! i was there earlier this summer. would do anything to go back

  • @squirrel162 Yes I agree. I too would like to be there right now. Amazing place.

  • Beautiful view and time lapse. Did you use a remote tripod head or manually pan? It's very smooth. I love how the water calms after the sun goes behind the mountain. Cheers on the great time lapse.

  • i used a home made time lapse motor made from an egg timer ..... i made a video on how to make one yourself its on my channel

  • Awesome- I just visited the Tetons and Yellowstone in August of last year. Hawaii is like no other place, but you gotta get of the rock every now and then... Thanks for posting!
