ha ha, me too, but mine is 1.0 but it's good because i drive to college every day, and i don't spend so much on gas, that way, but it's a fun little car to drive anyway:D
it's cool, i apologize aswell:D yep ours has 300k km on it, and the only thing that was changed was starter, except the regular oil changes, so pretty cool. and i own a vw polo (caravelle is actually my dads) and it also works without a problem, and my mom and sister share a mk4...and i don't know what vw was thinking but, that car has something broken all the time. peace and cars:D
OK, I apologize for coming off as a prick. The 1.6 diesel, eh? We do have those, as well, but there is none in my yard these days. I do, however, have a little ol' '77 Rabbit diesel with the 1.6TD. Little fucker will NOT die! LOL. Vanagons are so fun, I'm thinking about turing one of mine into a daily driver. I think the '86 2.1 gasser would be fun, but then I gotta pay my employees and do taxes so getting the damn thing licensed through the DMV and passing DEQ will prove hard. Peace and VWs.
well you still didn't realize that i was talking about diff:) but ok. and the motor is 1.6TD looks like you forgot about euro:D but ok you are the man, i'm just the mechanical engineering student, who happens to work on 3 vw, and fixing anything that works on gas all the time, but you are right i really can't compare to some old fuck who thinks he knows everything:)
XD I own 13 Vanagons, 9 Type 2 Transporters varying from '68 to '74, numerous Bugs, Ghias, Variants, Fastbacks, a few notchbacks, and some watercooled VWs. I have my own Volkswagen repair shop here in Oregon, and have been working on Volkswagens for many many years. I know more about Volkswagens than you know about your little penis, buddy. Do you know the displacement of the motor in your Volkswagen Vanagon? 1.9 or 2.1? Water or air? Please don't go into this conversation with me, punk.
at least i can read..... i didn't say transaxles i said differential. and since you are so smart you shold know that it's harmful for your diff, to floor your car when tires have diffrent traction, second, thats not even burnout, oh and i own a goddamn vanagon, so STFU and have a nice day:D
