I like the intent of John Edward's comments in this clip. He is touching upon many important issues for families. This is a genuine attempt to connect with families in a grounded and meaningful way. We are all dealing with our own private flood. A flood of emotions and fear. John is pointing the way out of despair. But he must not focus on pockets of despair in order to help those who are in despair. Pivot to those pockets of joy and hope.
