Two 1.5kg masses are released simultaneously from the top of a 10m high wall. One is attached to a chain while the other is free. Which one will hit the ground first?

they will both hit the gound at the same time duh

g is the same. It is the location of the changing location of the mass center of the weight/chain that needs to be considered. It is lower along the line of chain. So of course it will hit the ground first.
